Changliu successfully made its first flight! China has a solid-liquid bundling rocket
Sifang ultra light magnesium lithium alloy helped the satellite successfully enter the predetermined orbit
At 17:50 on March 29,at the new launch station of the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center,China's new carrier rocket Long March 6 took off for the first time.The rocket successfully put pujiang-2 satellite and tiankun-2 satellite into the predetermined orbit,and the launch mission was a complete success.

The Long March 6 modified carrier rocket was developed by the eighth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,Ltd.It is the first solid-liquid bundled carrier rocket in China and a new member of the new generation of long march series carrier rocket family in China.The successful first flight of the Long March 6 carrier rocket has enabled China to break through a series of technologies such as solid-liquid bundling and promoted the innovative development of a new generation of carrier rockets.

The rocket is a two-stage and half stage configuration,with a total length of about 50 meters,a takeoff weight of about 530 tons,and a 700 km solar synchronous orbit carrying capacity of not less than 4 tons.The diameter of the first and second stages of the rocket core is 3.35M.The first stage uses two 120 ton thrust liquid oxygen kerosene engines,and the second stage uses one 18 ton thrust liquid oxygen kerosene engine.Four boosters with a diameter of 2 meters are bundled in the core stage,and each booster is equipped with a solid motor with a thrust of 120 tons.

The power system is the unique feature of this type of rocket. The four boosters of the rocket are the two-stage 120 ton thrust solid motor developed by the fourth Institute of Aerospace Science and technology group, and the core stage is the liquid oxygen kerosene engine developed by the sixth Institute of Aerospace Science and technology group. The "cross-border cooperation" between solid power and liquid power has been successfully realized, giving full play to the advantages of high performance, long working time, large thrust and simple operation and maintenance of the liquid motor. For this reason, the rocket has broken through the key technologies such as the binding and separation technology of solid boosters, the diffusion technology of large concentrated force at the binding point, and the combined swing control of solid-liquid binding.

The pujiang-2 satellite was developed by the eighth Institute of China Aerospace Science and Technology Group Co.,Ltd.and is mainly used to carry out scientific experimental research,land and resources census and other tasks.Tiankun-2 satellite is developed by the second Institute of China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation,which can meet the functional requirements of diverse and complex tasks such as space scientific exploration,in orbit service and new technology verification.

The ultralight magnesium lithium alloy developed by Xi'an Sifang ultralight Materials Co., Ltd. is widely used in satellite embedded parts, brackets, shells and other structural parts, helping the satellite successfully enter the predetermined orbit and complete various scientific research tasks, making great contributions to the satellite's ascent and space travel.
